How To Curate Your Instagram Theme| My Game Plan

Hello guys!

First of all, I’m sorry about backing out on posting my blogmas😅 TBH I just felt youtube was the best place to show it , and in that case, do check out my videos here ( my Vlogmas playlist )

Back to today’s Blog Post! If you follow me on my Instagram, you would understand that I love a well curated feed… I mean, it’s just beautiful, keeps me feeling I’m doing something good! And some people have been asking me how I do this , the apps I use. Well, you have come to the right place.

This is my Current theme

My last theme ( I used a Dusty Preset)

So guys, I make use of two MAJOR MOBILE APPLICATION and they are ; LIGHTROOM & THE GRID

2. I use the Lightroom App to create PRESETS and tbh with y’all, I do go on YouTube to search for tutorials on certain presets and if I find one I like, I just go to my Lightroom app and copy the settings displayed on that YouTube tutorial. Trust me guys, it’s very simple.

List of some of my presets “ the white minimalist” is what I’m currently using

As regards my recent Instagram theme, there’s no doubt that one of my fav colors is White and I decided to search for ( white Lightroom presets) on YouTube and that led me to my pictures looking almost alike. However, the truth about white preset is that your original picture has to have at least a white object, image or background. If the picture is filled with colors, then it won’t give you the white theme you need. If you noticed in my pictures, I had at least a white object, it’s either I wore a white dress or my background was white etc .

2. The next App is THE GRID ; this is similar to PLANOLY and other apps for planning your feed ; the only difference is that you really do not need to pay to have this app and all I use it to do is to PLAN MY FEED and not to KNOW MY INSTAGRAM ANALYTICS.

I have had this app for a long time now, I hope it’s still on the Apple Store.

Guys, you can also purchase presets if you want, there are apps that do sell, but for starters , I would encourage you to just go on YouTube and watch tutorials on how to create certain presets like I did and still do. If you wana see a video of how I created my own presets, let me know at the comment section ! Would be delighted to share to y’all on my YOUTUBE .

See you guys in my next blog post💋
